About us
Passion for music
NewOntech is the culmination of a life long passion for music and hifi.
It was founded by Ole Nielsen from Aalborg in Denmark. Ole Nielsen did his first audio realted product during highschool. The first product’s was an 100w Amplifier made from scratch. The circuit was build around an integraeted circuit from National Semiconductor.
Later on during work the passion for Digital Audio was started. The First Digital to Analogue Converter (DAC) was build in the mid 80’s. The next couple of years was used to experiment and refine the construction.
The company was started in 1990 and the first product’s was a extern DAC for high end audio.
Our product’s are always made with the feeling and love for music.
We try to make Audio Solution’s which make your feet steeps, and raise the small hair in the back of your neck.

DAC
The First Digital to Analogue Converter (DAC) was build in the mid 80’s.
RIAA
I found my old records and then I had to develop a RIAA.

AMP
The first amplifier was build in the mid 80’s and futher developed and refined many times since. The goal is the live feeling.
CABEL
The RCA and XLR cobber cables from NewOntech, is made with the finest material available. The connectors are state of the art from WBT or Neutrik. The cobber cable is long crystal special made litz wire.

The beauty of this hi-fi hobby is its galactic span and the freedom it allows us on what true believers call ‘the journey’. The freedom to end relations with the devil we know, the freedom to take crazy, irrational risks, the freedom to make mistakes but, perhaps most addictively of all, the freedom to discover rare, unassuming gems. I reckon this Newontech triumvirate fits the description perfectly. It might come from a brand you’ve never heard of, its innate purism might hold back on a few creature comforts and conveniences. But as a neat, superbly built and finished high-end solution for sane money, I urge you check Newontech out.

What amazed me most about the Newontech DAC 07 is how it shifted my perspective on hi-fi audio. Suddenly, I’m no longer obsessed with technical specs or resolution numbers in bits and herz. Instead, I can simply enjoy the music. That’s not to say the DAC doesn’t reward you with breathtaking detail when fed a high-quality source—it absolutely does—but its brilliance lies in how effortlessly musical and immersive it makes everything sound.
